PURPOSE
To preserve golf history in both the state and region.
To honor those, living or dead, who by achievement have produced lasting contributions to the sport of golf in the state or elsewhere.
To inspire Georgia youth involved in golf to reach their highest potential.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for induction into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, an individual must have…
.....been born in Georgia and lived in the state for a reasonable period of time,or
.....participated in a golf activity in Georgia, or
.....been a citizen of Georgia and brought honor to the state through his/her endeavors, and
.....participated in the sport for 20 years or have been inactive for five years.
MISSION
The Georgia Golf Hall of Fame is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Georgia’s golf traditions, heritage, achievements, and excellence.
Supporting the following goals:
• Honor the game of golf
• Identify and select candidates for induction into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame
• Honor by enshrinement, individual contributions or achievements in the sport of golf or golf industry
• Pay tribute to those inducted into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame
• Preserve and illustrate golf history in the State of Georgia
• Promote golf and golf heritage in the State of Georgia
• Promote the golf clubs, organizations, and associations in Georgia
• Enhance public knowledge and appreciation of the game of golf and serve as an education resource regarding the game of golf, golf heritage, contributors to the sport of golf

MEMORIAL: Honor the memory of a loved one, a golfing buddy, a friend or family through the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Memorial Program.
TRIBUTE: Honor accomplish-ments and achievements in golf or in life through the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Tribute Program.
$200 - $300 Donations receive recognition in Georgia Golf Hall of Fame publications and online Hall of Fame Memorial/Tribute page.
$500 plus Donations also receive a memorial/tribute plaque mounted on a special brick along the serpentine wall surrounding the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame facility.
