Eileen
H. Stulb
Eileen Stulb was born June 23, 1923, in Augusta, Georgia. Ms. Stulb was the first
girl to make the Augusta College Golf Team. She was runner-up in the Titleholders
Championship twice, considered for many years to be the equivalent of the men's
Masters® Tournament. In the Women's Western Amateur, she was a quarter-finalist
on two occasions. Ms. Stulb won the Georgia Women's State Amateur twice. She has
played in the USGA Women's Amateur seven times, the USGA Women's Open and the
USGA Women's Senior Amateur.
Ms.
Stulb has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia State Women's Association,
the Women's Eastern Association, the Titleholders Association, the USGA Senior
Women's Committee and was local chairwoman for the 1971 USGA Girls Junior Championship
held at the Augusta Country Club. Ms. Stulb died February 26, 2007.
The
Georgia Golf Hall of Fame is honored to induct Ms. Eileen Stulb into the Hall
of Fame on January 10, 2004.
